A broad range of Northampton businesses, organisations and individuals have come together to help launch a new website - Love Northampton. The new initiative was officially unveiled on Valentine’s Day in Northampton Town Centre and showcases the best Northampton has to offer, all in one place.
Northampton is a great town within a fantastic county and Love Northampton showcases the many highlights, helping to create a real sense of place for those in the town. It includes events, sports, art and music listings, as well as a business directory and useful information for those visiting and living in the town.
At Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership we are delighted to be a leading partner on this initiative alongside a number of other organisations including Northampton Borough Council, Royal & Derngate and Northampton Saints. The new website provides a great platform to communicate to a wide audience exactly what Northampton has to offer. Whilst the website launches in challenging economic times, there are still many positive projects underway in Northampton; it is an exciting time for the town with on-going regeneration work and the Northampton Waterside Enterprise Zone bringing more business to the area.
The website is a great example of a number of organisations, public and private, coming together to work in partnership to raise the profile of the town. We hope over the coming months that many more businesses will become involved with Love Northampton and back the campaign to drive more visitors to the area, a benefit that will be felt by both residents and businesses alike.
