With one year to go until the Olympic Flame arrives in the UK, the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) today launches the search for 8,000 Torchbearers to carry the Olympic Flame right across the UK with the start of the LOCOG Moment to Shine public nomination campaign.
The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) today published its prices for Paralympic Games tickets. In total, approximately two million tickets will go on sale for the Paralympic Games from 9 September 2011.

Athletes, volunteers and the British public will help the London 2012 Organising Committee (LOCOG) go through its paces ahead of the Games next year. More than 10,000 volunteers, 8,000 athletes from more than 50 countries and more than 250,000 spectators will be part of a 12 month rehearsal for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in a programme of test events that run from May 2011 to May 2012.
