The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) today published its prices for Paralympic Games tickets. In total, approximately two million tickets will go on sale for the Paralympic Games from 9 September 2011.

Athletes, volunteers and the British public will help the London 2012 Organising Committee (LOCOG) go through its paces ahead of the Games next year. More than 10,000 volunteers, 8,000 athletes from more than 50 countries and more than 250,000 spectators will be part of a 12 month rehearsal for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in a programme of test events that run from May 2011 to May 2012.

The launch of the Igniting Ambition Festival 2011 in Northamptonshire is marked with a brochure celebrating the diverse range of projects taking place in this years programme across the three counties of Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Rutland.

An exciting digital photography project involving local schools from across Northamptonshire will be officially launched this Wednesday (6th April).

A new website has been launched to provide Northamptonshire residents with everything they need to know about what’s happening in the county in the lead up to London 2012.
