Our young people are our future, and we want to make sure they are fully equipped to make the most of it. That’s why, as a county, we set so much store by education.
From early years, through primary and secondary schools, and onto sixth form colleges and higher education, we invest a lot in our young people, with new learning establishments and sports venues being built all the time. On top of that, there is a county-wide commitment to involve our places of learning with local communities, sports venues and businesses.
Here in Northamptonshire, we don’t believe that education ends when school or college finishes. Our adult learning opportunities – everything from basic skills updates to languages, sports, hobbies and courses designed to aid entry to higher education – are always keenly filled, and often free or funded.
When it comes to education, Northamptonshire is one of the most exciting places to be in the UK.
